Just to say that the box arrived safely today and I am delighted with my purchase. Beautifully wrapped. Thank you for a very smooth transaction. Very fast delivery and very professional throughout the whole process. Happy to recommend you to whoever asks.
Incredibly friendly and efficient service. Tom visited my property, made a detailed and thorough inventory of all that might sell, arranged transport and promptly offered every lot for sale through Maxwell’s auction. Many thanks. I was very happy with every aspect of your service.
The staff are really friendly and nothing is to much trouble, a really well run auction house.
I went to my first antiques auction at Maxwell's last week. This was an enjoyable and rewarding experience, one that I have been looking forward to for a long time. All of the staff are so polite and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The viewing, auctions, descriptions and collections are all so professionally done. Now I am retired I will be going to many more.
After a long journey. I was delighted to be at Maxwells. Very lovely people. Helped me with the bubble wrap. A cup of tea was a bonus.
My first ever online auction experience. Even though I am just a small fish in a big pond they could not have been more helpful. Will certainly be bidding again!
I haven't actually bought anything, but was trying to trace something they sold......Jill is amazing a truly lovely lady, she couldn't do enough for me, an absolute credit to you
Just want to say how pleased I was with my auction buy from Maxwells. They also despatched the item quickly the same day I asked. Lovely staff. Thank you all very much. Jane Prosser :)
Very pleased with service provided, staff friendly and polite, also packed and shipped my items at very reasonable price! The packing was better than most couriers! received them very promptly! Thank you all at Maxwell Auctioneers
I have bought, online, items on a number of occasions from this auction house and have nothing but praise for the accuracy of the item descriptions, the helpfulness of all staff members, the packaging and timeliness of delivery, and communication from start to finish. Professional and truly excellent!
Max and his staff are very knowledgable and helpful. We had furniture in their auction yesterday, 22 January and I was able to watch the process online. I know people say you don’t get what it’s worth but we have to remember it is second hand and we were very satisfied with the prices obtained. The following day we received an email itemising all the goods and the amount we will receive. Highly recommend them to people wanting to sell their unwanted articles. Well done Maxwells.
I have visited and purchased some really great finds from Maxwell’s a few times now, Heather is always really helpful on the phone and I found the viewing days to be well spaced and set out especially in these times of covid. Easy to view the catalogue online and bid via easyliveAuction.com. Collection is super organised and there’s even a small cafe, looking forward to the next sale.
Friendly staff... Free parking, cafe & toilet facilities. Went on the day of sale and had time to look around. If your bidding for something... ...it's was about 100 items/hour... ...you can watch it online live or get notifications to your phone. Only 2 mins from town centre & Sainsburys. If your selling... plenty of online bidding too.
First time visit, excellent, great to see the items and view them before placing bids. Staff nice, friendly and very helpful. Will be returning definitely.
Brilliant auctioneers... I have bought and sold antiques many times using their regular auctions. No problem getting paid for sold items. Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Good parking. Highly recommended!

Fantastic and helpful staff, great experience and very well run on auction day
Just wanted to say how pleasant it was to attend this morning to collect my items. The 2 workers who helped me load my car was very pleasant and kind. Can you please pass this on to the manager. They won't take a tip, and it gives me hope that people can still be nice.
