An Adam style satinwood boudoir chair with an oval cane back and cane seat, with extensive painted floral decoration and a 1/2 length portrait of an 18th century lady to the back, on square tapered legs.
The chair is tight, the paintwork original, though it could be revived somewhat. The bergere caning has been renewed - one or two small breaks noted in the seat.
